Our Anti-Racism Committee runs projects and campaigns that challenge white supremacy in society at large. This work is guided by our relationships with African Nova-Scotian and Mi’kmaq communities – both organizational and interpersonal.
Working While Black
For example, the ARC helps coordinate Working While Black in Nova Scotia, a joint project of Ujamaa, Solidarity Halifax and the former Kwacha House Café.

In July 2014, our Anti-Racism Committee produced Guideposts for Anti-Racist Organizing Against Capitalism, a pamphlet that outlines our collective analysis of racism and effective ways of opposing it.
